About this world

My Hero Academia is set in a world where the majority of the population possesses superpowers called Quirks, leading to the rise of professional heroes who combat villains. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless boy who inherits the legendary One For All power and enrolls in U.A. High School to become the world's greatest hero.

Quirks

Quirks are superhuman abilities that manifest in about 80% of the population, typically appearing before age four, and can range from physical enhancements to elemental control.

U.A. High School

U.A. High School is the top hero academy in Japan, known for its rigorous entrance exam and heroics course that trains students to become professional heroes.

One For All

One For All is a transferable Quirk that stockpiles power and can be passed down to successors, currently wielded by Izuku Midoriya after inheriting it from All Might.

All For One

All For One is a villainous Quirk that allows its user to steal and bestow Quirks, and is the namesake of the series' primary antagonist.

League of Villains

The League of Villains is a criminal organization led by Tomura Shigaraki, seeking to destabilize hero society and overthrow the current order.
